This one-day instructor-led course provides students with an overview of some of the features and functionality of Microsoft Office SharePoint Designer 2007.

Audience Profile

This course is intended for information workers who want to learn intermediate-level SharePoint Designer 2007 skills.

Prerequisites

Before attending this course, students must have:

  • Basic computer knowledge, such as keyboard and mouse skills.
  • Basic file-management skills. The student should know how to navigate to folders and files on a computer running Windows Vista.

Before attending this course, students should complete Course 50207A, Learning Microsoft Office SharePoint Designer 2007 Step by Step, Level 2, or be able to:

  • Understand master pages, CSS and color-coding options, CSS inheritance in SharePoint, site definitions and templates and accessibility standards and legal issues.
  • Attach a master page.
  • Create a Webg page from a master page.
  • Customize a master page.
  • Change the default master page.
  • Identify styles in cascading style sheets.

  • Use CSS reports.
  • Reset a page or master page to the site definition.
  • Create and explore a site template.
  • Test a site template solution.
