Program Description:
This program is designed for those students who wish to advance to the level of a desktop support technician.  A CompTIA A+ and Network+ Certification or the equivalent knowledge is recommended for those taking this course.  Students will learn how to support the MS Windows XP and the applications that run on it.  While completion of these courses does not necessarily lead to specific employment opportunities, the skills and knowledge obtain should enhance employment opportunities.  At the end of this program, students will have the knowledge and skills necessary to take the Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician (MCDST) exam.  Upon successful completion of all requirements, students are awarded a certificate of completion.
